I live with my family near Zurich, where I work as a textile designer.

During a year-long stay in New York I discovered textile art through an exhibition of «Abstract Design in American Quilts» (1971) at the Whitney Museum. Inspired by the simplicity of African-American Gee’s Bend Quilts, “less is more” became an integral part of my own design and life philosophy.

Besides creating my own work, I advocate for textile art to receive its proper place within the art community.
